Los Angeles Football Club chooses Catapult to deliver wearable and video analysis technologies

The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) has become the latest team to utilize Catapult’s range of performance technologies.

As the club looks to strengthen its sports science and analysis operations, LAFC will use Catapult’s Vector and Vision systems to support enhanced athlete monitoring and video analysis across its performance department.

LAFC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as an expansion team for the 2018 season and has since made league history, clinching the 2019 Supporters’ Shield after breaking the all-time points record with 72 points (21-4-9 record). As the club continues to grow and establish itself at the top level of US domestic soccer, LAFC is continually looking for new ways to create competitive advantage both on and off the field.

LAFC chose to switch to Catapult for a number of reasons, including data accuracy, improved live experience, best-in-class product support, and the business’ continual investment in research and development.
