We hosted our annual Hockey Users Conference in June during the NHL draft week in Nashville, TN. This annual conference brings together Hockey Coaches from all over the world to learn and network. Here’s a recap of what was covered.

At the conclusion of each NHL season, Catapult’s annual Hockey Users Conference brings teams and coaching staff together across a variety of leagues for a week of development and networking.

Here are the key Thunder Hockey updates that were covered:

  • IMPROVED VIDEO EXCHANGE WORKFLOWS
Now teams can seamlessly import many media & data files from the Exchange network into their ThunderCloud account. This new update reduces the time to manage large quantities of media & data files during the season.
  • NEW MULTI-ANGLE CAPTURE WORKFLOWS
The legacy Black Magic encoder has now been replaced with AVMATRIX and Antrica encoders. These new smaller network capture devices unlock multi-angle capture with improved stability & faster finalization times.
  • WINDOWS OS UPDATES
Thunder 2023 is now updated and optimized for the latest Windows operating system to ensure all-around stability & performance for our Video Coaches and teams.

NEW VIDEO COACHING TOOLS

In addition to Thunder updates, Catapult has also presented Hub – our new suite of video tools that are designed to seamlessly connect performance insights across every user, including coaches & athletes.

Teams that don’t use Thunder for their video analysis, now have the ability to try Focus – our latest Video Editing software.

Focus allows teams to capture multi-angle video & data at every moment.

Now teams can capture a variety of video angles and tag their own data using custom code windows that don’t require operators to code. You can also import 3rd party data to enhance your analysis workflows.

The combination of our latest tools gives teams a new, streamlined way to capture, analyze and share every moment of performance.
