The Catapult G5 was named the ‘Best Use of Technology in Football’ at the 2018 Football Business Awards in London last night.
Attended by representatives from leading sports teams, businesses and governing bodies, the Football Business Awards recognises and rewards the hard work that takes place across the football industry.
The G5 is football’s only goalkeeper-specific performance monitoring device. Giving coaches the data required to support training load management, player development, injury rehabilitation and talent identification for goalkeepers, the G5 is now used by over 120 clubs and federations worldwide.
Identifying actions such as jumps, dives and returns to feet, the G5 has transformed goalkeeper coaching by quantifying the loads experienced by goalkeepers in training and games.
