ISDN
Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN)is a circuit-switched technology used for digital transmission of voice and data over the traditional telephony network. ISDN—standardized for North America as National ISDN-2 and internationally by ETSI as INS, TS-13/14 — includes higher speed versus analog systems. It also gives the user the capability to transmit voice, video and text simultaneously.
Catapult ISDN testing supports international standards including National ISDN 1 / 2. It provides the tools required by network equipment manufacturers and service providers for stress and functional testing.
Stress and Functional Testing:
- Expandable by adding computing power, physical interfaces throughout the Catapult family of scalable platforms
- Simulates switches and emulates terminal equipment to conduct complete load capacity
- Traffic generation using load utility/user scripting with automatic call test procedures
- Full Layer 2 LAP-D Support with LAPD Editor
- Real-time layer decode
- PRI (CEPT/ANSI) support
