-- Development Facility Opens in Philippines --
Mountain View, CA June 14, 2007 - Catapult Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: CATT) announced today an expansion to their product offerings with the formation of the Applications Development Center (ADC) in Manila, Philippines.
Guy Simpson, VP of Applications Engineering states, “The Philippines team will focus on application development, allowing Catapult to offer a broader range of products and solutions. Our existing customers have been requesting this, and it will also allow us to address new markets. These pre-packaged, turnkey applications will include:
- Node simulators for key network elements
- Test suites for IMS, LTE & WiMAX applications
- Powerful traffic generators for real-world scenario testing”
Simpson continues, “We have recruited the initial core group of managers and senior development engineers. Mr. Hoton Elicano has been named Managing Director of this new facility. We anticipate further expansion in late 2007.“
The wholly owned subsidiary, Catapult Communications Applications Development Inc., has been incorporated in the Philippines and has taken office space in the Bonifacio Technology Center in Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila.
